The world is our Classroom.
Once students move into our Middle School, their study involves much more ‘out in the field’ learning to complement and enhance the rigorous learning found within the classroom.
Such learning has involved study trips to:
- Mongolia to live with Nomads
- Okinawa to absorb more about history and culture
- Hiroshima to learn directly from survivors about the effects of war
- Cambodia to connect and learn about local education
- New Zealand to observe first hand the unique ecosystem of the fiords and the surrounding rainforest
- Aomori to hear directly from scientists working on energy projects
- Kushimoto, the northernmost reef in the world , while engaging in primary research with trained marine biologists.
