The Role of PCA in our Community

 

Our Parent Community Association is a volunteer body made up of parents and others who support Kyoto International School.

The main purpose of the PCA is to enrich the educational experience for our students.  This is accomplished by:

• hosting or helping with events
• fundraising
• building relationships and increasing involvement in the school

 

There are many benefits to becoming an active member of the PCA.  Some of these benefits include:

• becoming better informed about the school
• serving as role models for our students as service-oriented members of society
• helping to improve communication within the school
• Increase the educational experiences for the students by assessing needed resources
• Boosting the well-being (fun aspect) of the school
